Course Objective
Today, social life is in such a rapid and continuous change that it is not in any period of history. This multidimensional and rapid change affects every individual as well as educators (reseaechers, teachers etc). As educators are the most vital element of the education system as initiators, developers and practitioners of educational activities, the effort and concern of educating and instructing qualified and healthy teacher-researchers has always held an important place in the agenda of the societies. For this reason, the most effective way to improve educational outcomes in a country is primarily to improve the qualifications of teachers and researchers. Surveys and systematic observations show that the qualifications of educators and educational practices are significantly influenced by the psychological well-being. Psychological well-being in the context of psychological functioning requires the individual to make positive evaluations of himself / herself and his / her past life, to have a continuous development and growth feeling as an individual, to believe that life is meaningful and purposeful, to establish qualified relationships with other people, to manage his life and environment effectively, his life and his future can be determined by himself.
