LEARNING FACILITIES
CENTRAL LIBRARY
The Central Library has an area of 1279 m2 and serves in the Kınıklı campus. At its time of opening the Central Library had approximately 4000 books and printed resources these have been purchased by the library’s budget or obtained by donation and exchange programs. Printed books and the other similar collections have been accumulating and their numbers are constantly rising each year, in 2011, their number had reached 62 000. In addition to this, our library has many electronic database subscriptions covering the university's education subjects.

DEPARTMENT OF STUDENT SERVICES
The university provide students with 29 computer labs containing 724 computers connected to the internet so that they can use them in lectures and in their leisure time. These labs are open outside lecture hours, so that students may find the opportunity to research and study freely outside academic hours.
An electronic mail account (@pau.edu.tr) is formed for each student which so that they can find the opportunity to communicate with an electronic mail account which has a corporate identity .
There is wireless internet access in the student canteens. Students can benefit from free internet access with their own laptops in the canteens. Student ID cards used in our institutions are in smart cards form. Students can load money onto their identity cards in various parts of the campus, by doing so they can use their cards in the canteens, dining halls, photocopy centers, or even on buses.
At the same time, Pamukkale University is a member of EDUROAM which is an improved radial-based authentication infrastructure, this enables guest users to easily connect to the Internet in all institutions. The users of institutions which have a membership with EDUROAM, can connect to wireless networks by using their user name and passwords on their portable computers at other institutions which also have a membership with EDUROAM.
