Course Objective This course covers the developmental process, which has an important place in explaining human behavior. For this purpose, the content of the course consists of possible behavioral patterns expected in the development process and the factors affecting these patterns. At the end of the course, students were expected to know what kind of processes an individual will go through throughout the life, to understand the factors that determine the direction and shape of these processes, to comprehend the complex structure created by these processes and to offer basic suggestions to prevent developmental problems, as well as to gain awareness about the developmental antecedents of his/her own behavior.
Course Content The content of this course includes the cognitive, psychosocial and moral development process of development, the mechanisms that affect this process, along with the main theories of learning: classical conditioning, operant conditioning, conjunction, contiguity, systematic behavior and sign gestalt theories.

2Gaining information about the basic theories to explain the cognitive, psychological, social and moral development of the individual
3Acquiring the necessary knowledge and understanding of the environmental mechanisms affecting human development and the complex interactions between these mechanisms.
4To know the basic concepts and processes related to the learning process starting with the classical and operant conditioning theories
5Acquiring the ability to understand the mechanisms behind human behavior within the framework of basic theories and to design appropriate learning environments when necessary
