To provide school counselors candidates to gain professional help skills for group counseling
Course Content
1. Know how to apply the therapeutic conditions and skills in group counseling 2. Prepare the group plans to group counseling 3. Know the stages of group counseling 4. Provides the therapeutic conditions in the group counseling process 5. Apply therapeutic skills needed in group counseling process 6. Makes preliminary interviews in Group counseling 7. Help to determine the objectives of the client in group counseling 8. Know the group counseling process 9. Apply the possible intervention techniques for the client in group counseling 10. Makes the terminate group counseling sessions 11. Knows what the situation will dispatch 12. Recognizes cultural differences could affect the group counseling process
