Course Objective
The aim of this course is to give informations related to numerical solutions of the hydraulic engineering problems.
Course Content
Introduction to MATLAB programming, finite difference method, finite element method, differential quadrature method, compact finite difference method, ordinary and partial differential equations common in hydraulics, solutions of boundary value problems, solutions of initial value problems, analysis of water distrubition networks, modelling of open channel flows, modelling of groundwater flows, modelling of contaminant transport.
