To provide information about applications, and definations of the hydrologic models.
Course Content
System and Model Concepts in Hydrology. Basic Equations of Hydrologic Processes. Flow in Unsaturated Zone. Infiltration Models. Flow Models in Saturated Zone. Transformation of Precipitation to Flow. Excess Rainfall and Direct Runoff. Distribution of Surface Runoff in the Basin. Snowmelt. Rainfall-Runoff Models. Linear Systems. Unit Hydrograph Model. Rational Method Model. Parametric Models. Flood Routing. Lumped and Distributed Routing Models. Short Term Flow Prediction Models. Long Term Flow Prediction Models. Flood Flow Probability Distribution Models. Hydrologic Design Models. .
