Course Objective
Effective, productive and economic production can be accomplished with a well designed production planning and control system. One of the major work areas of industrial engineers is planning department. Thus modern planning techniques will discuss in this course.
Course Content
Production concepts and systems, production planning concepts and hierarchy, stock control systems, quantitative sales forecasting techniques, aggregate production planning, master production schedule, material requirement planning, assembly line balancing, machine loading, job sequencing, production activity control
