Course Objective This course aims to teach nurse students’ understand of the relationship between culture and health, cultural assessment models, illness and health behaviors, recognize cross cultural conceptial models enchance a cultural care competencies and utilize the competencies in nursing care and in nursing research.
Course Content This course includes information about culture concept and theory, relationship between culture and health, cultural care in nursing, cultural diversities and care necessities, usage of transcultural care models in nursing studies.
