Course Objective The aim of this course is to define the basic concepts of risk, to identify risks that may cause health problems in the individual, family and society, to develop knowledge, skills and behaviors for planning, applying and evaluating public health nursing services with a risk approach in developmental and situational crisis status.
Course Content This course includes risk approach definition, basic concepts and risk assessment, crisis, definition of crisis, developmental and situational crises and risk approach in individual, family and society, public health nursing risk approach to infancy and childhood problems, school age and adolescent period problems and public health nursing risk approach. problems and risk approach in young adults and adults, risk approach to elderly individuals problems, risk approach and women's health problems and risk approach, risk approach in disaster, risk approach in children under difficult conditions, risk approach in general social crises, philosophy, ethical issues, roles and responsibilities of public health nursing, basic concepts in public health nursing, professional issues in public health nursing, application of models and theories to the public health nursing process
