To provide a thorough knowledge of contemporary immunology at the cellular and molecular level and an insight into the ways in which this can help in immunodiagnosis and the control and treatment of disease.
Course Content
Introduction to tumor immunology, Evidence for immune reactivity to tumors, Tumor associated antigens, Escape from immuno-surveillance, The role of tumor markers in the diagnosis and The treatment of malignancy.
