Course Objective To guide students in evaluating the motor-sensory-autonomic changes that occur after peripheral nervous system injuries, in analyzing problems, in applying the appropriate rehabilitation approach and in developing new strategies.
Course Content Neurophysiology and neurodynamics of the peripheral nervous system Up-to-date information on neural surgery and regeneration, and factors limiting functional recovery Functional reorganization after surgery Current rehabilitation strategies and their effects on cortical plasticity.
