Course Objective To have knowledge about diseases / problems related to pediatric neurology in neonatal intensive care, to evaluate patients, to gain knowledge and skills about planning appropriate treatment programs, to examine the literature on diseases / problems in the field of pediatric neurology.
Course Content 1- Motor development in the normal child 2- Assesment and testing of infant and child development 3- Newborn and its evaluation 4- Neurological examination in risky babies. 5- Risky baby, motor involvement and neurodevelopmental assessment (scales) 6- Early intervention-physiotherapy rehabilitation in risky babies 7- Pulmonary and cardiac development in newborns and conditions to be considered in premature babies 8- In neonatal intensive care, general problems and mechanical ventilation in babies 9- Physiotherapy application concepts in neonatal intensive care unit 10- Physiotherapy evaluation in neonatal intensive care unit 11- Respiratory evaluation in the newborn 12- Techniques of chest physiotherapy in babies 13- Physiotherapy rehabilitation applications in the neonatal intensive care unit 14- Family-focused care and family education
