COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Doctorate Degree
Course Type Elective
Course Objective The concept of change, which is one of the main agendas of every discipline, has gained a dramatic dimension for digitalization. The radical digital change experienced has not made new technologies and new business models easier for businesses, it has made them compulsory. The developments have caused digital technology to become more deeply embedded in all organizations. Businesses won't be able to stay competitive without new business models. Until recently, technology was used to facilitate the information flow of businesses using traditional business models. With the advent of the Internet and the ubiquity of mobile devices, data has become critical. Service delivery combined with user experience came to the fore. These developments in digitalization, new business models, personalized products/services and technologies, data-based workflow and service delivery became the main agenda of business practices. On the other hand, studies on these subjects quickly came to the fore in the literature. The main aim of the course is to combine the realities of the exponentially changing digital age with theoretical ideas and thus to shed light and guide digital business management practices.
