Course Objective
"Artistic activities"appears to be a cultural construction tool for the regulation of social relations at every stage of the historical period in terms of social existance . Emergence of “ artist” as a class everytime validate art as a functional issue in terms of building social values and prove to be an influential class of art in the organization of social structure. Although artist is considered as “a class” at sociologic analysis based on old customs the fact that the analysis of artist as “an inevitable class on behalf of existentialism” is to be limited dimensions. Through this course such themes as: “on behalf of social structure”, “art class” as an obligation, “change and art”, “art as builder/tool of government” and “art as the provider of institutional life” and some examinations will be carried out.
