Course Objective	This course is to introduce students to qualitative research techniques, which is an increasingly common research method among educational research. Qualitative research methods in educational sciences, qualitative research design, data collection and data analysis techniques in qualitative research will be examined practically within the scope of the course.
Course Content	Definition of qualitative research and its place in scientific research tradition, Characteristics and types of qualitative research [biography, phenomenology, ground theory, ethnography case study] action research, Qualitative research planning, Formation of research questions, Data collection methods, interview, observation, document review Quality and reliability, Data analysis, Use of qualitative research results.
