Course Objective Within the scope of this course, our aim is to teach ability to students relating statistical data collection, analysis and interpretation
Course Content Use of basic statistical techniques, distributions (normal distribution, t distribution, F distribution and X2 distribution), simple comparisions, multiple comparisions - analysis of variance (ANOVA), mean separation techniques (Duncan's Multiple Range Test, LSD, Tukey test), introduction to experimental design, completely randomized designs, randomized block designs, simple and multiple regression analysis and their applications in food science and technology. .
