Course Objective This course aims to introduce main concepts in the field of optimization in energy systems. This course also provides students with the ability to use various methods and tools in the single-objective and multi-objective optimization problems in this field.
Course Content Main concepts in the field of optimization in energy systems; single-objective and multi-objective optimization problems; multi-criteria decision-making, forecasting, modelling, simulation, economic analysis methods and tools; MS Excel, MATLAB, GAMS, IBM ILOG CPLEX, ARENA applications; case studies.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
