COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To provide information about theoritical substructure that are required for the design of analog filter circuit.
Course Content Network functions, positive real functions, synthesis of LC circuits with one-port: Foster and Cauer circuits, RC, RL and RLC circuits, synthesis of passive circuits with two-port, resistor terminated LC ladder circuits, zero-shifting method, impedance and frequency normalization, approximation theory, Butterworth and Chebyshev function, frequency transformations, introduction to activecircuit synthesis.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
