Course Objective
At first, acquainting the students with basic principle of electromechanical energy conversion. Students recognize the relation of between magnetic field, moment, force, mechanical energy and electrical energy. Students will be introduced with transformers, motor and generator which have wide application in industry. Construction, work principles, basic characteristics in steady state will be analyzed.
Course Content
The principle formulation of Electromechanical energy conversion system. / Learning of laws like as Amper, Faraday, Lenz / analyzing of magnetic field/ Linear motors / Transformers / Basic AC/ DC machines and their types/ Power analysis/ the analyzing of 3 phase Asynchronous machine.
