Course Objective The working principles of laser systems, optical and laser types and applications of the theory to have a basic knowledge.
Course Content Review of Electromagnetic Theory (Basic laws and theorems ), Guided Optical Beams, Resonant Optical Cavities, Laser Oscillation and Amplification, General Characteristics of Lasers, Semiconductor Lasers.
