COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To learn the knowledge about nervous system anatomy and function, how to obtain these knowledge, how to use these knowledge in scientific research.
Course Content Gros anatomy of nervous system: anatomy of cranial nerves, anatomy of spinal nerves, autonomic system, anatomy of spinal cord, descending and ascending tracts, anatomy of brain, anatomy of cerebellum, ventricles of brain, meninges of brain and spinal cord, circulation of cerebrospinal liquid, vasculature of brain and spinal cord
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
Mode of Delivery Face to Face

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Explains anatomical structures of nervous system, and shows them in models and cadavers.
2. Explains the portions of the nervous system, its functions, and relations, and shows them in models and cadavers.
3Follows and reads publications related with this topic, and shares them.
4Joins to plan a scientific research study in nervous system
5Makes cadaver dissection for nervous system.
6Participates a multidisciplinary research project related with nervous system.
7Knows the mechanisms of the diseas related with nervous system and prevention methods and articles of the law about these issues.
