Course Objective Strategic Advertising Management course aims to provide students with the necessary strategic information about planning, implementation and evaluation by evaluating the concept of advertising, making strategic decisions about advertising campaigns. With this course, students will think more broadly about the basic concepts related to advertising management, will have knowledge about how to create and manage advertising, will be able to criticize advertising studies in terms of research, creative strategy, media planning, implementation, measurement and evaluation, and apply advertising campaign strategies with current advertising practices. will be able to evaluate
Course Content Within the scope of this course, the stages of the advertising campaign, the strategic decisions and points to be considered in these stages, the basic concepts of advertising management, the importance of the advertising industry today and its reasons for growth, advertising strategies and policies, advertising mix for different businesses, new approaches in advertising management will be discussed. In addition, in line with the theoretical and practical knowledge gained, there will be studies on the critical approach and analysis of current advertising campaigns in the sector in terms of strategic management and the examination of academic studies on advertising management.
