Course Objective This course aims to make the students learn about the socio-cultural impacts of tourism and examine the sociological structures of the tourists participating in tourism phenomena and business enterprises providing tourism products and services.
Course Content Relationship between sociology and tourism, interaction between tourists and local people, social change, the impacts of tourism on community and application of sociological theories in tourism.
