Course Objective This course aims to reveal the sociological sources of violence in contemporary societies.
Course Content Within the scope of this course, information about the theoretical approaches explaining the phenomenon of violence will be given, social variables related to violence will be analyzed and common types of violence will be analyzed. In this framework, the relationship between violence and variables such as drugs, culture, weapons, peers, family and school will be examined and it will be tried to reveal what kind of studies should be done to prevent violence.
