Course Objective Within the scope of this course, it is aimed to understand the interaction and cooperation between the fields of sociology and social policy and to gain knowledge about social policy approaches.
Course Content In this course, the first social policies implemented by Bismarck in the modern sense and Durkheim and other French solidarists in the 19th century. Theoretical and practical suggestions for the solution of the social problem in Turkey will be discussed. Then, II. The social policies of the Northern and Western European societies, which became a wage-earning society from the World War II until 1975, and today's neoliberal social policies will be discussed.

Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
