Course Objective	Within the scope of this course, it is aimed to learn the historical development and current situation of youth research.
Course Content	This course includes the aim of sociological analysis of the theoretical and field studies on youth, which we also consider as a social category, from which aspects these studies deal with youth, from which aspects the problems of youth are discussed in the past and today. A student taking this course; Learns the sociological definitions of youth. Gains knowledge about youth theories. Learns how youth is evaluated as a social category in the historical process. Learns youth work in Turkey and in the world and on which subjects these studies focus.
