Course Objective Within the scope of this course, it is aimed to deal with the historical and sociological emergence of the concept of the state and then to learn the current theories about the state phenomenon.
Course Content Focusing on the legal, historical and sociological construction processes of the state, this course will examine Weberian and Marxian state theories from a historical sociological perspective. The state, which is one of the most decisive devices and fields of the modern world, will be examined in this course.
