Course Objective From the establishment of the Republic of Turkey until today, to examine the adventure of modernization in Turkey in military, political, intellectual, economic, cultural and legal fields.
Course Content The establishment of the First Parliament and the emergence of the First Group and the Second Group, the abolition of the Sultanate and the Caliphate and other Republican revolutions, the experience of the One Party and the radical secularism policies, the transition to the Multi Party system after the Post-Second World War, the establishment of the Democratic Party, and the modern ideologies such as Kemalism, Nationalism, Islamism and Socialism will be dealt with.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
