Course Objective
The general aim of this course is to learn the scope and use of measurement and evaluation processes and tools in education, and the main topics are: The place and importance of measurement and evaluation in education; basic concepts of measurement and evaluation; psychometric (validity, reliability, usefulness) properties of measurement tools; developing measurement tools to be used in the classroom; development and implementation of achievement tests; interpreting test results and giving feedback; analysis of test and item scores; evaluation and grading.
