COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To give information about the effects of exercise on systems (skeletal, circulatory, respiratory, endocrine), the effects of environmental conditions (heat, cold, height) and the tests that are used in exercise physiology.
Course Content General information about exercise, energy systems in exercise, muscle types, exercise and muscle (contraction mechanism, types), muscle hypertrophy, strength, endurance, acute and chronic adaptation of the heart and circulatory system to exercise, blood pressure in exercise and athlete's heart, exercise and respiratory system , exercise and blood, hormonal response to exercise, nervous system response to exercise, exercise and reproduction, exercise and digestive system-urinary system, exercise and nutrition, electrolyte balance in exercise, height and exercise, sweating in exercise, exercise and child, exercise and woman, fatigue in exercise.
