Course Objective Within the scope of this course; it is aimed to introduce the international hotel management field, to examine the strategies that hotels can apply to gain an advantage in the competitive market, to examine the steps that can be taken to respond to the changing expectations of consumers, to discuss the current issues affecting hotel management, to discuss the strong relationship between business performance and human resources management.
Course Content This course consists of the following contents: current issues affecting the hospitality sector on a global scale, ways to attract potential guests, marketing and branding techniques that can be used to ensure the loyalty of existing guests to the business, developing innovative projects and designing creative activities necessary to keep up with the changes in the rapidly developing hospitality sector, improving the conditions in the work environment and creating a corporate culture in order to increase the commitment of talented colleagues to the business, green-oriented and community-based responsibilities of hotels to support a sustainable tourism industry, pricing and budgeting policies, strategies to gain competitive advantage in the international tourism market.
