Course Objective By introducing rhythm education and the basic rules of dance, basic step techniques, dance types, the course aims to teach how to prepare choreographies with music and to practice dance choreographies suitable for leisure time activities.
Course Content The course includes basic concepts of rhythm and dance, the rhythm of music and movement, dance equipment and materials and their features, dance exercises, posture exercises, rhythm, melody, and music selection, individual and partner exercises, waltz, tango, jazz, dance-related steps, compositions, concepts, techniques and compositions related to rhythm and dance, and dance choreographies suitable for leisure activities.
