Course Objective The aim of this course to tell the main arguing in the field of communication and ethic with historical, conceptual and theoretical developments, to determine the difference between ethic, morals and the law, to examine ethic subject within the framework of political, economic and organizational dynamics of commication studies.
Course Content In the communication ethic course, concept of ethic will be examined within the framework of the morals, law, career ethic; subjects such as ethical and social responsibility, ethical approach in journalism-public relations-advertising-television area will be discussed. Common ethical problems will be discussed in the light of communication ethical principles / guidelines and declarations from Türkiye and the world. New problems about new communication technologies will be told and their possible solutions will be considered.

3Understands the theoretical information of advertising ethic
4Knows ethic limitations such as unfair competition practices, privacy at practice of medium and the message in marketing area.
