Course Objective
The aim of this course is to teach to define the semiotics, to interpret the meaning of the side indicators by explaining formation conditions of meanings.
Course Content
Semiotics and semiotic concepts, theories, signification (Denotation-connotation), Ferdinand de Saussure, Charles Sanders Pierce, Umberto Eco, advertising analysis, poetry analysis, story analysis, film analysis, space analysis, analysis of video clips, photo analysis, the phenomenon of stars.
