COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To learn and apply the basic approaches and components of information and communication technologies in the context of Basic Information Technologies. Basic hardware and software knowledge, operating systems OFFICE software, new media and internet technologies to take advantage of the effective way. To be able to prepare presentations by using presentation preparation software by knowing effective presentation methods. Creating digital media and content using interactive media design software effectively.
Course Content Basic information about ICT, hardware and software concepts will be recognized. In addition to the basic components of the computer, operating systems, OFFICE software, internet and various applications will be shown. Effective presentation preparation techniques will be shown with practical teaching of presentation programs. Students will be able to recognize new media and internet technologies, and to recognize current social platforms and frequently used social media tools. Video preparation, interactive media design and effective use of video software will be shown. In the course, an applied teaching and learning process based on demonstration, project preparation and individual-independent learning will be adopted.
