Course Objective The spread of modern media tools, ease of use and low cost have significantly increased the number of political campaigns today. Political communication, which has become an important part of communication research, affects society in every aspect within the framework of the determination of politics. Based on this reality, the aim of the course is to provide the student with the ability to plan and implement a political campaign by gaining a general understanding of the political communication process, its stages and the techniques used.
Course Content Theories and approaches in political communication, voter preference models, current approaches in political communication, political persuasion, political rhetoric and media, political and candidate debates, political advertising, types of political campaigns, campaign design, campaign management.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
