Course Objective
To give general, statistical and technical information on traffic accidents; to give an overview of planning / engineering measures to prevent accidents.
Course Content
Regulation and review of the minutes of the accident. Identification and explanation of the defect rates, determination the status of alcohol. Drawing a sketch of the scene of the accident, identifying the cause of the accident, preparing the report of the accident, the vehicle and driver-related documents. Examples of the accident forms and preventability analysis of the events of the accident, braking distance, the initial velocity calculations. The importance of accident analysis in vehicle design, crash testing, crash models. Analysis of the cost of replacement parts and works. Properties of traffic and automobile insurances, insurance operations, inspection procedures, rights and restrictions provided by the insurance.
