Course Objective	Giving students an understanding of Microstructure and material properties, microstructure examinations, sample preparing, examinating of material structure and comments them, quantative analysis and to know to students about quality control of materials
Course Content	Material characterizatin and to teach to sample preparing and examination methods for quality control of products. Also, to know to metallographic test equpments and sample preperatinn and examination with the equipment and qualitative and quantitative analaysis.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	1- To distinguish definition of metallography. To compose and debate relation of microstructure-properties-production
2	To categorize material properties and production methods and relate to their microstructures
3	To distinguish metallographic sample preparation methods and categorize them
4	To debate sample preparation defects and question for each preparation stage
5	To prepare sample experimentally and control specimen at stage
6	To organize groups for experimental studies and revise sample preparation defects
7	To evaluate and analyze microstructure study of prepared samples metallographically
