Course Objective Giving students an understanding of Microstructure and material properties, microstructure examinations, sample preparing, examinating of material structure and comments them, quantative analysis and to know to students about quality control of materials
Course Content Material characterizatin and to teach to sample preparing and examination methods for quality control of products. Also, to know to metallographic test equpments and sample preperatinn and examination with the equipment and qualitative and quantitative analaysis.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
11- To distinguish definition of metallography. To compose and debate relation of microstructure-properties-production
2To categorize material properties and production methods and relate to their microstructures
3To distinguish metallographic sample preparation methods and categorize them
4To debate sample preparation defects and question for each preparation stage
5To prepare sample experimentally and control specimen at stage
6To organize groups for experimental studies and revise sample preparation defects
7To evaluate and analyze microstructure study of prepared samples metallographically
