Course Objective To teach students the basic concepts of nuclear engineering and how they are used in nuclear engineering.
Course Content Radioactivity, decay modes, interaction of radiation with matter, radiation dosimetry, neutron and positron beams, research reactors, power reactors, nuclear waste disposal, nuclear safety, health applications of nuclear science, medical imaging, radioactive markers.
