Course Objective
The methods of marble quarry operating and marble processing will be described to the students easily thanks to the subjects of this lesson.
Course Content
Classification of rocks used as building and facing stones, granite, basalt, diabase, tuff, and so on. The use of igneous rocks, limestone, travertine, onyx and so on. The use of sedimentary rocks, genuine marble, marble, dolomitic marble and so on. The use of metamorphic rocks, rocks, natural stone used as a contribution to the national economy, determining the criteria for use of natural stones and life-detection methods used to improve the properties of natural building stones and coating, and coating of natural building stones and pebbles comparison with the artificial construction, economical heat and natural stones sound insulation, decoration and so on. The advantages of issues, natural building stones produced in Turkey and in the world of production areas, according to the geological classification and general features of the economic data on natural stone materials, natural stones and the surrounding province of Denizli, Doğlataş industry in the world and the situation in Turkey.
