Course Objective To learn imaging techniques, thermal analysis methods and x-rays, which are commonly used in materials engineering and research, to learn the applications where these techniques are required, and how to evaluate the data.
Course Content Principles of structural characterization methods, introduction of physical characterization methods, thermal, mechanical and optical characterizations. Introduction of structural characterization methods (XRD, SAXS, SEM, TEM, SPM, AFM)
