Course Objective learn new manufacturing technologies.
Course Content A brief overview of modern manufacturing methods and comparison with the traditional manufacturing methods. Modern processing methods according to the type of energy used in processing the principles of the classification and treatment of these methods, materials, processing parameters, process capabilities and practices should be reviewed. Mechanical Energy: ultrasonic machining, abrasive jet machining, water jet machining, Electrochemical Energy: electrochemical machining, electrochemical grinding, electrochemical honing, Chemical Energy: Chemical Processing, Thermal Energy: Electric discharge machining, wire EDM, EDM, Laser Machining, Laser Machining, Plasma Processing
