Course Objective inform students about composite materials, production methods, application areas and properties of the compposite materials
Course Content Definition of composite materials, composites for strength dispersion, particle and fiber-reinforced composites. Glass-reinforced plastics (FRP), polymers and reinforcing elements properties, production methods, the mechanical behavior of layered composites, layer theory, design and analysis of layered composites, methods of testing. Metal matrix composites (MMCs), matrix alloy, reinforcing ellements, the fiber-matrix interphase reactions, production methods, MMK materials specifications, test methods.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
