Course Content Iron-carbon equilibrium diagram and micro structures, phase transformations in steels and the resulting micro-structures, micro-structural mechanical properties of Alloy Elements on Mechanical Properties and Residual Effect of Annealing Process, annealing techniques, Water Loss, Jominy Test, Water Making, Heating And Cooling Techniques , hardened parts Design Techniques, tempering, austempering, patenting, Thermo-Mechanical Processes, Surface Hardening Technology, Tool Steels Heat Treatment, cast iron, heat treated, non-ferrous metals Heat Treatment.
