Course Objective Dynamics of engineering mechanics theory and applications to provide clear and detailed manner.
Course Content Kinematics of Particles: Rectilinear motion, Position, velocity acceleration vertical components. Curvilinear motion, relative motion of particles. Kinetics of Particles: Newton’s Second law, Equations of motion, Dynamic Equilibrium, motions of particles. Work of Force, Kinetic energy of particle, Potential energy, Conservation of Energy. Impulse and Momentum, Impulsive motion. Impact, Direct central impact, Oblique central Impact. System of Particles. Kinematics of Rigid Bodies: Translation, rotation around a fixed axis, Rotation, General Plane Motion. Absolute and relative velocity and acceleration in Plane motion. Plane motion of a Particle relative to a rotating frame, Coriolis acceleration. Vibrations.
