Course Content Atomic structure of materials, crystal structures, crystallographic plane and directions, crystal imperfections, mechanical properties of materials, tensile test, creep test, fatigue test, charpy toughness test, and hardness tests of metals, deformation of metals, deformation mechanisms of metals, diffusion, recristalization, binary phase diagrams, phase transformations, corrosion and its preventing, iron-carbon phase diagram
