Course Objective Teaching students the materials, material properties and tests used in the automotive field.
Course Content Introduction of materials, structure-property relationships and applications, physical and chemical properties of materials, material mathematics, cast iron, steel and steel alloys, aluminum and its alloys, copper and its alloys, composite and plastic materials, non-metallic materials, materials testing, mechanical and non-destructive testing, electron microscopy techniques, and light, and X-ray analysis methods.
