Course Objective Different sewing techniques used in the production of clothes are taught, sewing exercises and sewing skills reinforced with technical pieces are used to gain knowledge and skills to produce simple clothes.
Course Content To have information about the materials and tools used in the sewing workshop. It is the execution of different sewing techniques and clothing production processes used in clothing construction, and the determination of the characteristics of the human body and clothing forms.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

1Classifying techniques and technologies used to transform a two-dimensional garment model into a product.
2Applying the necessary procedures to prepare the pattern of a designed clothing model with a guide.
3Applying the necessary processes under the guidance of a guide in order to transform a patterned clothing model into a product.
4Considering the technical criteria necessary for apparel designs to be viable.
5Using the developments and changing technologies in the field effectively by applying them to new situations.
