Course Objective The aim of this course is to develop original patterns for textile surfaces.
Course Content Source research for surface design. Gathering information to support design development processes. Developing skills in archiving and transferring information. Creating personal and visual data. Developing the ability to grasp the boundaries of aesthetic elements such as point, line, stain, tone, color, texture. Pattern drawings based on observation and research. New idea and concept development. Applications for creating fabric patterns.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Designing aesthetic and original patterns in accordance with the style of that theme, within the framework of a theme to be determined by using textures from nature and drawings
2Stylizing the realistically illustrated drawings according to a different desired style. Composition design. designing and coloring the textures of a particular theme.
3Students present the designs they have prepared in an exhibition order, showing the construction stages and design processes (it can be the pattern or the products on which the pattern is printed)
