Course Objective This course aims to raise the students’ English language skills and knowledge of basic grammar structures to the pre-intermediate level.Students are expected to become aware of creating meaning using pre-intermediate level language structures. They will also be capable of examining language and Word structures in pre-intermediate level context.
Course Content The content of this course includes basic grammar structures and texts which improve the level of students to the pre-intermediate level. At this level students become aware of creating the meaning of sentences and texts by means of language structures. students are capable of examining language structures and words in context at pre-intermediate level
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1In CORE LANGUAGE I class, students will have upgraded their elemantary language level to the pre-intermediate level.
2Our students talk about their daily lives, family members, jobs, rooms and furniture, food, clothes, sports, animals the weather and seasons.
3Our students comprehend articles about various topics,comment on them and ask questions related to them.
4Our students improve their knowledge of grammar related to possessives, present simple, articles, ability, countable and uncountable, past simple, indefinite pronouns, superlatives, necessity and obligation, and present perfect.
5Our students understand listening materials, including dialogues, phone conversations, interview, songs and radio talks, take notes and ask questions about them.
6Our students write greeting cards, application form, invitation, email, post card, personal and formal letter.
7Our students participate in role-plays in various contexts.
